In 1878, part of the present nave was constructed to the design of William McMinn, architect. In 1893, the nave was extended and a porch constructed.1 Additions to the original church, consisting of transepts and a sanctuary, were consecrated in 1899.2 The 1890s additions were designed by E.J. Woods, architect.
The first organ, built by J.E. Dodd, was dedicated on 6 December 1903.3 It is now at St Joan-of-Arc Catholic Church, Victor Harbour. The second organ, built in 1900 by J.E. Dodd, came from Scots Church (Chalmers Church) in Adelaide. It was sold to a winery in McLaren Vale and is currently in storage.

The present organ, built by Knud Smenge, of Healesville, Victoria, was dedicated on 3 August 1995. It has mechanical key and stop action and the casework is of solid Jarrah.
